About the Author—Marjean Cox

Marjean Cox is a retired elementary school teacher. She lives with her husband Steve in Wichita Falls, Texas. They have four grown children, seven grandchildren, and two more grandchildren due in 2015.

About the Illustrator—Lizzy Hallman

Lizzy Hallman is a freelance illustrator who received her BFA at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She finds inspiration in everything, especially animals and nature, and has a passion for bringing them to life on paper. Lizzy lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, daughter, and Chihuahua.
